Common questions.
What happened to the free tier?+
Interview prep is a burst-use product — most people need it for 2-6 weeks during an active search. A pass or short trial fits that reality better than a capped forever-free plan. So we swapped: Pro and Unlimited both start with a 7-day trial for $1 that auto-converts, and every paid plan ships with a 14-day no-questions refund. If you only have one interview coming up, the $49 Burst Pass gives you 30 days of full Pro access and is gone when you're done — no subscription to cancel.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Pro and Unlimited are cancel-anytime — one click from your account page, and you keep access through the end of the billing period you've already paid for. Burst Pass is one-time by design: it simply expires after 30 days, no cancellation needed.
How does the money-back guarantee work?+
Every paid plan (Burst Pass, Pro, Unlimited) has a 14-day refund window, no questions asked. Email support within 14 days of the charge, we send it back the same day. No 'substantial usage' fine-print, no runaround — we'd rather keep a customer's trust than their $19.
How is this different from reading Glassdoor?+
Glassdoor tells you what questions might come up. InstantInterviewer makes you answer them out loud, then grades your answer. You don't get better at interviewing by reading questions — you get better by saying bad answers, seeing why they're bad, and saying them again.
How accurate are the company-specific questions?+
We source from Glassdoor, Blind, industry forums, and direct submissions from users post-interview. Each question is tagged with how recently it was reported. Question-bank depth varies by company — we'll show you exactly how many verified questions exist when you pick a role, and we supplement with AI-generated questions in the same style for thinner banks. Banks are refreshed weekly.
Does the AI actually talk to me, or is it text-based?+
Voice, both directions. The AI speaks questions aloud and listens while you answer — full duplex. It can interrupt or follow up mid-answer, just like a human interviewer would.
Is my data private?+
Yes. Your transcripts and recordings are private to your account. We don't train models on your answers, and you can delete session history anytime.
